Snow is expected for much of Indiana this weekend.
The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Winter Storm Warning for our area beginning at midnight tonight through 7:00 A.M. Sunday morning.
Total snow accumulations of 5 to 7 inches is possible with minimal ice accumulations of a light glaze possible.
Hazardous travel conditions are expected on Saturday and periods of heavy snow will create low visibilities.
Meteorologist Chad Swain says is very little chance for blowing or drifting snow.
Swain says most of the state should see some snow, with the heaviest band projected to fall between Lafayette and Seymour.
Snow showers could linger into Sunday morning in some areas.
