As temperatures plummet some Hoosiers will struggle with paying their winter energy bill.
Duke Energy reminds those customers that they offer assistance in managing their energy bill, including workers affected by the federal government shutdown.
Lesley Quick, Duke Energy’s vice president of revenue says customers who have more than 12-months of usage history in their current home may qualify for one of Duke’s billing and payment plans that gives customers the option of levelized monthly payments.
She says these billing plans are ideal for customers who are unable to pay a large bill now, but can afford to pay the average amount.
For billing assistance you can visit Duke Energy Indiana’s website. Customer Service specialists are also available Monday thru Friday by calling 1-800-521-2232.
