Old Town Players will be bringing the story of the Elves and the Shoemaker to life this weekend.
Director Steve Gray says the Grimm’s Fairy Tale cal tells the story of a shoemaker whose business isn’t fairing well until he gives away his last pair of shoes to a poor widow woman.
Hungry theater goers can enjoy dinner prior to Saturday Night’s performance. Gray says from 5 to 6:30 pm the Civitan Club will be serving a Christmas dinner across the street from the theater at the Vincennes Masonic Lodge.
Tickets for the meal are 15-dollars for Adults and 10-dollars for Children.
There will be three performances of the Elves and the Shoemaker at 7 pm tonight and Saturday with a Sunday matinee at 3 pm.
Ticket information is available by going to OldTownPlayers.org.
There will be repeat performances of the play December 14th, 15th and 16th.
