The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign will kick-off this evening.
Captain Laura Lunnam says they will recognize the 2017 Bell-Ringer winners and announce this year’s campaign goal.
In addition, the event will showcase the decorative Kettles painted by Knox County school students.
Lunnam says Knox County schools are decorating kettles which will be used to collect money during this year’s campaign.
In addition, each school will be competing for the favorite decorated kettle and most money raised during the Holiday Season.
Tonight’s Kick-Off campaign will be held at the Salvation Army Headquarters at 2300 N. 2nd Street in Vincennes.
The Public is welcome to attend and tour the newly renovated interior of the building.
