GSH Ed Center to be Named After Dr. Charles Hedde

Posted on November 19th, 2018

Good Samaritan’s new Health Education Center will bear the name of a long-time leader.

In August of 2017, Dr. Charles Hedde, the hospital’s Chief Medical Officer, passed away.

Now, the Dr. Charles Hedde, M.D. Health Education Center will allow his memory to live on at Good Samaritan.

The announcement was made during the Good Samaritan Foundation’s annual gala event over the weekend by Hedde’s son.

The Health Education Center will serve as a learning hub for not only Hospital employees, but participants in a new residency program set to kick off this summer.

In 2019, four residents will begin their tenure at Good Samaritan, followed by 10 more each summer in subsequent years.
